This series was inspired by a conversation in which I admitted to my brother that I have an entire folder of sunset images my friends have posted. I save these images for inspiration! It just so turns out that they are often photos form vacation.

This is my biggest ever landscape measuring 48” x 60” x 1.5” on panel with a 1.5 inch deep panel. It was created using a mix of traditional watercolors and pigments from Texas soil, plants and insects. It is sealed with wax for longevity and easy cleaning.
