Still Here is a mix of bespoke watercolors created by a Texas watercolor company known as Emily Grace palettes, and Texas soil. I painted it the day after attending a community singing ritual inspired by the work of Joanna Macy, in which we processed love and grief around our changing earth. It is sealed with Cold wax medium. The sides of the pieces are treated with a dark danish oil. This piece is 8” x 8” x .75”
