This piece of work is an ode to slow living. I have adored snail’s ever since my classroom adopted five way back in 2006 when I was a science teacher. I was amazed that if you fed them carrots you could see their intestinal tract turn orange. They love water, and they hibernate when it is hot and dry. They are tiny miracles. But most important of all, they take it slow and they carry their home with them.

This piece is 16” x 20” x 1.5” and was painted on clayboard with watercolor. It is sealed with wax. There will be prints available eventually, but I cannot offer them yet.
