This piece is a part of my Other People’s Vacation Photo Series, which is inspired by sunset photos my friends share. I keep an entire folder of their beautiful photos for inspiration. Sharing a beautiful landscape is a humble generous act, and I want to create more of that energy.

A portion of this piece is painted with Texas soils and plant pigments as I move towards a more earth friendly art practice. It also has a couple of collage elements. I used old National Geographic magazines to create the plants and the tiny person hidden on the hill. This piece is 48” x 60” x 1/8”. It is unframed, and the price includes the option to add a 1.5” deep wood panel to the back or leave it as is so you can frame it.
